Morocho, the famous Dogo who saved two young girls and fought a Puma, once again showed his courage. Ulises, the grandson of Morocho’s creator Dr. Nores Martines, took his daughter ‘Sofa’ to La Cocha for some errands a few months ago. Everything was going smoothly until they reached the estancia where they were greeted by the foreman, Tomรกs. Sofa and Tomรกs’s daughter Yoli asked for permission to collect figs from a tree located 700 yards away from the main home. Yoli climbed up to the top to get the tastiest figs, but soon she heard leaves rustling and branches swinging. It was then that Morocho appeared to save the day once again.
Unknowingly, she shared a tree with a puma, also known as a mountain lion or cougar. When she looked up, she was startled to see a massive puma leaping down from the higher branches. The beast hit her with its paw, causing her to fall two meters to a lower landing.
As they passed through the estancia, Ulises’ top dogo, Morocho, playfully wagged his tail at them. However, when Morocho encountered the puma and heard the girls’ screams, he put his life on the line to save them.
Upon hearing the commotion, Yoli’s father rushed to their aid, thinking it was a snake. He found Morocho with severe injuries, but still alive, and the puma had fled.
Thanks to Morocho’s bravery, the two young girls were able to survive the encounter. His heroic act amazed millions of people around the world, and he is blessed for having furry angels watching over us. May he rest in peace. Don’t forget to share this incredible story with your friends!
