Joy in the Winter Wonderland: Selena Gomez Revels with Companions Following Wellness Treatment

Selena Gomez had been admitted to a mental health facility in September following an emotional breakdown. Since then, the singer has kept a low profile. However, after two months, she has now been discharged from the hospital and looks like she is back to her happy and healthy self. Recently, her friends Connor Franklin and Bailee Madison posted pictures of their trip to Big Bear, California, which is roughly 95 miles away from Los Angeles. Sources say that Selena is feeling much better and is looking forward to resuming her regular life.

Selena Gomez, the renowned pop sensation, has made a comeback after a brief absence. Recently, she was spotted having a snowy date with her pals Connor Franklin and Baillee Madison. These photos marked the first public appearance of the star ever since her hospitalization in October. While enjoying sledding with her friends, Selena wore a black outfit and looked content and fresh in a long jacket, a black knit beanie, a black sweatshirt, and furry boots. She was beaming with a big smile in one snap that showcased her excitement while standing on the right side of her friends at the end of a ski-tube run.

In a happy and healthy photo, Selena is seen shouting with joy while standing beside three of her friends. Another adorable picture shows Selena and Connar playfully encouraging each other. A group photo captures almost everyone raising their hands in the air or clinging to a tube. Selena has been candid about her battles with depression and took admission to a mental health facility in October due to two health scares. However, sources report that she is feeling much better now and is looking forward to returning to normal life. Earlier in October, Selena was hospitalized twice due to a low white blood cell count, a common side effect for kidney transplant recipients like her.

The snapshot shows the group’s excitement as they pose at the bottom of a tube run. Selena had to undergo a kidney transplant in 2017 due to complications arising from her Lupus condition. In an interview, Selena shared her struggles with depression and coping with heartbreak. Unfortunately, she was also dealing with anxiety and depression during her second hospitalization. She eventually sought help by checking into a treatment center after her second health scare. Selena’s Lupus condition required chemotherapy in 2015 and later progressed to affect her kidneys. Lupus is an autoimmune disease that causes the immune system to attack healthy tissues, leading to various symptoms such as joint pain, blood cell abnormalities, heart and lung problems, among others.
